Steve Lampen has been helping Belden deliver world-class signal transmission products for twenty
years. At Belden, Steve currently works as Multimedia Technology Manager. He is also the Product
Line Manager for Belden’s Entertainment Products, which serves the Professional Broadcast, A/V
Production and Broadband markets.

Prior to his work at Belden, Lampen had an extensive career in radio broadcast engineering and installation, film production and electronic distribution. Steve holds an FCC Lifetime General License (formerly a First Class FCC License) and is an SBE Certified Broadcast Radio Engineer.

On the data side of things, Steve is a BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer. His
book, "The Audio-Video Cable Installer’s Pocket Guide," is published by McGraw-Hill. Lampen also writes an ongoing column, "Wired for Sound," which appears in Radio World Magazine.
