Harman International is looking for a talented, creative, and highly motivated computer science engineering intern to work with the R&D Group to develop software to support research, development and testing of professional, consumer and automotive audio products. The ideal candidate is currently in a computer science engineering degree program with an interest in audio engineering and/or research related to the science of sound reproduction.

Duties
Required Experience:  Coursework and/or work experience in the areas of programming for desktop and mobile devices on Mac and Windows OS are required. Experience with .Net (C/C++, VB), database programming (MySQL), and website development are required. Prior experience programming in Objective C for the iPhone/iPad is a plus. Familiarity with sound recording/editing software tools, audio measurement tools, and critical listening skills are also a plus. The candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to work with a team of audio perfectionists. Location: Harman International, Northridge, CA.
